About Starkville Area Habitat
Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity is a Christian organization that seeks to put God's love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing through the construction of new homes with affordable mortgages for homeowners who need a better place to live and are willing to work hard to make a better life for their families. Through your participation in our annual Golf Classic, you are helping us continue our mission. Together we have built 74 homes in Oktibbeha County since our affiliate began in 1986.
About Starkville Country Club
Starkville Country Club was founded in 1968 and was originally a nine hole course until an additional nine holes were built in 1990. The course is a par 72 and measures 6560 yards from the back tees. There are five different sets of tees, each designed for player’s individual skill level. The course is lined with mature pine & oak trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes. Each hole has its own unique design to test all parts of the game. The TifEagle greens are small with subtle undulation to give a true test of putting accuracy from all angles.
