Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Starkville Habitat for Humanity operates a thrift store as a fundraising vehicle. The Starkville Habitat ReStore is open Thursdays 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Located at 206 S. Jackson Street (on the corner of Jackson and Lampkin Streets), the ReStore offers gently used home goods (furniture, kitchenware, lighting, decorative items), appliances, and select building materials. All proceeds go toward the purchase of building materials for Habitat Homes in Oktibbeha County.
The ReStore inventory is made up of donated items. We have a pick-up crew that will pick up donations at your home on Wednesday mornings. For large or heavy items, we recommend using our Wednesday morning pick-up service, but smaller items may be dropped off during store hours or during Habitat office hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.). Please call 662-324-7008 before dropping off a donation. A donation voucher is provided for tax purposes. Please fill out the donation form below to be placed on the list for pick-ups on Wednesdays. If the submission is later than Tuesday at 12 p.m., it will be bumped to the next Wednesday.
Items we do NOT accept for donation include:
- mattresses and box springs
- clothing
- appliances over 20 years old and/or not in good working order
- baby items/toys
- lumber with nails in it
- toilets
- cultured marble countertops
The ReStore also sells rare, vintage or hobby items through a Facebook group, check out our inventory here.
