Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Starkville Habitat for Humanity operates a thrift store as a fundraising vehicle. The Starkville Habitat ReStore is open Fridays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is located at 206 S. Jackson Street (on the corner of Jackson and Lampkin Streets). ReStore offers gently used home goods (furniture, kitchenware, lighting, decorative items), appliances, and select building materials. All proceeds go toward the purchase of building materials for Habitat Homes in Oktibbeha County.
The ReStore inventory is made up of donated items. We have a pick up crew that will pick up donations at your home on Wednesday morning. For large/heavy items, we recommend using our Wednesday morning pick up service, but smaller items may be dropped off by the donor during store hours (Friday 9-4 and Saturday 8-2) or during Habitat office hours (Monday-Friday, 9-2). Please call 324-7008 before dropping off a donation or to schedule a pick up. A donation voucher is provided for tax purposes.
Items we do NOT accept for donation include:
- mattresses and box springs
- appliances over 20 years old and/or not in good working order
- baby items/toys
- lumber with nails in it
- cultured marble countertops
