Hometown Hero Award

August 15, 2017 by Amanda Henry

Pinks Dudley was recognized on August 11 as a Modern Woodmen Hometown Hero for her decades of work with Starkville Habitat. Mrs. Dudley was nominated for this award by Joel Downey and members of the Habitat board of directors. In Mrs. Dudley’s honor, a $100 donation will be given by Modern Woodmen to Starkville Habitat.

Modern Woodmen, a fraternal financial services firm, recognizes Hometown Heroes in our community each year. These Heroes are people who, either in their line of work or as volunteers, go out of their way to do good for others in the communities in which they live.
