2010 Maroon Edition Habitat House
The second Annual Maroon Edition house, for the Katie Gray Family, will be built this fall, primarily by Mississippi State University Students. Groundbreaking is secluded for August 10th, at 9:30am. It will be next door to last fall’s Maroon Edition House.
2009 Maroon Edition Habitat House
The first ever Maroon Edition Habitat House – Starkville Habitat’s 42nd house – was constructed in the fall of 2009. MSU Students , Faculty, and Staff worked to build a home for the family of an MSU alum and his family of 5.

The Family
Randle/Harvey Partner Family: Â The family selected for the 2009 MSU Maroon Edition Habitat Home, 249 Greenwood Street, is a mother and father of three children, ages 12, 10, 6. This family was living in a very small house in need of much repair. Â The family is not only excited about now having decent place to live and owning their own home, but also the life changing opportunity homeownership brings.
