2008 First United Methodist Church Habitat Home – 320 Apple Street

The First United Methodist Church, Starkville, Mississippi selected Habitat for Humanity as their 2008 local mission project, sponsoring the building of the 320 Apple Street Home

A mother and four children (ages 14, 9, 4, and 6) is the partner family for this home. One child is facing heart surgery and another child is seriously allergic to many foods and allergens. In addition to meeting the special needs of ill children, the mother is employed full-time. The family is currently living in public housing and views homeownership as a life changing opportunity.
