President Keenum presenting Bible to new Habitat homeowner Kimberly Riley

Home Dedication for Riley family

Kimberly Riley’s Home Dedication was held at her new home at 70 Murdock Lane.  MSU President, Dr. Mark Keenum, presented the family a Bible from Habitat for Humanity, as well as a handmade quilt by Dot Livingston, made from donated t-shirts from vounteers. Cadence Bank President Marcus Mallory also spoke about their sponsorship of the Maroon Edition Home, and their challenge to MSU Students to help raise money for the project. Cadence Bank will match up to $20,000 a year, for the next three years, of money raised by students. It was a great day of celebration for the family, Starkville Habitat for Humanity, and MSU.  This was the 47th house built by Habitat in Starkville.
